A New Chapter for Bubbly Babes: Updates, Gratitude & Healthy Growth
(A heartfelt update from Echo + the Bubbly Babes Team)
If you’ve been with us for any length of time, you know Bubbly Babes has never been “just a store.” It’s been a dream, a passion, a creative outlet, and honestly… a wild ride.
Today’s post is a personal one, and while it’s not easy to share, we believe in being transparent with our Babes—because you’ve supported us from the very beginning.
This is an important announcement about change, growth, and making sure we continue building Bubbly Babes the right way… without burning ourselves out.
Saying Goodbye (For Now) to Katie 💗
First, we want to share that we will be losing Katie.
Katie has been such a valuable part of our team. She’s loyal, hardworking, and the kind of person every small business owner prays for. We are truly grateful for the time she poured into Bubbly Babes.
And even though we hate to see her go, we are SO excited for her next chapter. She is going to excel in anything she does in life, and we were lucky to have her here with us as long as we did.
Katie, if you’re reading this—thank you. You’ll always be a Bubbly Babe. 💗
From a Hobby to a Full-Blown Business
It’s hard to believe, but Bubbly Babes started three years ago as a hobby.
And then something incredible happened.
It grew. Fast.
It became a “real business.” A busy one. A thriving one. A place that brings joy to people’s lives—and not just because our products smell amazing (although that definitely helps 😘).
But growth comes with challenges too.
We’ve been through many employees over the years, and one thing is true:
Working at Bubbly Babes isn’t for someone who just wants a paycheck.
It’s for someone who wants to grow with us.
We’re not perfect. We move fast. We’re creative. We’re messy sometimes. We’re always working on the next thing—and yes, we can be all over the place.
But the one thing we ALWAYS are?
Committed.
Committed to quality, consistency, ingredients, handmade products, and doing things the right way—even when it’s hard.
A Personal Truth: Burnout is Real
We also believe in being real about life behind the scenes.
For over a year and a half, I traveled to Bay St. Louis seven days a week to grow the business.
And I’m not exaggerating when I say this:
It will burn you out.
And that’s where I landed.
In December going into January, I was sick—and I mean sick. I couldn’t work, and it was the busiest time of the year.
If it wasn’t for my daughter, Ferris, Katie, and Tassa holding everything together, I honestly don’t know what would’ve happened.
That moment made me realize something:
I can’t do it all.
I’ve tried. I’ve wanted to. But it’s impossible.
What Matters Most: Our Products & Our Recipes
One thing I want you to know, always:
Bubbly Babes is built on original recipes and real skill.
I don’t have to steal other people’s ideas, franchises, or formulas.
These are our recipes.
Our formulas.
Our products.
And we’re only going to get better.
My goal is to create the best skincare and body care products possible—clean, effective, and made with love.
That’s what Bubbly Babes is.
Ferris is Taking the Reins
To help us move forward in a healthy way…
I have handed the reins to Ferris, and she will be running both stores.
Ferris has stepped up in a major way, and I am proud of her beyond words.
This new structure allows us to:

New Store Hours: Closed Tuesdays + Wednesdays
Until we find the right person to fill Katie’s role, we’ll be updating our schedule.
✅ Starting January 20th, Bubbly Babes will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We want to be clear:
We are NOT slowing down.
We’re simply choosing to work smarter—not harder—and build a business that lasts.
What I’ll Be Doing: Production, Creation & Big 2026 Energy
I’m not going anywhere.
We’re currently creating a dedicated production area, so I can focus on what I do best:

🫧 Producing more of your favorite products for the stores
I am a creator. That is my strength—and in 2026, I’m leaning into that fully.
A Loving Boundary (Because We’re Done With Entitlement)
Now I’m going to say this with love…
We are not Amazon.
We are a handmade, family-run business. We make products from scratch.
So if you come into our store with an attitude because we’re out of something—
and you aren’t willing to place a custom order—
then we may not be the place for you.
We will not tolerate hateful, demanding, entitled behavior.
We work way too hard for that.
We are building a business that aligns with our values:
Quality. Creativity. Community. Health. Happiness.
And that’s not negotiable.
